This case study presents the design and implementation of an automated AI video content creation workflow using n8n. The system integrates VEO 3, multiple AI tools, and cloud storage to generate, store, and upload videos without manual effort, making video production faster, more consistent, and scalable.

Challenges & Problems

The challenge was to build an automated pipeline that could take a scheduled trigger, generate a creative video idea using AI, produce a VEO 3-powered video, and then store and upload it to the cloud, minimizing human involvement while ensuring quality and organization.

Solutions Provided

The workflow was developed in n8n with a series of connected nodes handling each step in the process. It begins with a Schedule Trigger that initiates the workflow at defined intervals. OpenAI’s Chat Model is used to generate video ideas, followed by another AI prompt to create a specific VEO 3 script. The content information is stored for recordkeeping, and an API request to the VEO 3 video creation service generates the video. A short wait is applied to ensure processing completion, after which the video file is retrieved. The video is then stored in a Google Sheet for logging, sent via an HTTP Request for further processing if needed, and finally uploaded to Google Drive for easy access and sharing.

The implementation eliminated manual data entry and message sending, reducing lead response time to under one minute. Lead data accuracy improved, and the client was able to maintain an organized and searchable record in Google Sheets. Engagement rates increased significantly due to the speed of communication.
